Our story

The story of SANT Enterprises has its genesis in Mogok, Burma. Ancestors of the current generation laid the foundation in the 1890s by acquiring mining rights from the British and establishing an entity known as Ladha Singh Meher Singh & Son. Over the years, the family developed a solid reputation as trustworthy people in the Ruby and Sapphire mining and trading segment. 
The advent of World War II, led the family to flee Burma in 1941 and eventually saw them settle in Thailand, establishing SANT enterprises in 1963. Their domain knowledge, reputation and relationships in the gemstone sector, guided them on their path of becoming a leader in the sourcing, trading and stocking of precious stones.
Today, SANT Enterprises has built on their core strength, offering one of the largest portfolios of rubies, sapphires, fancy sapphires in both the heated and un-heated category. They offer these gems from Burma, Siam, Madagascar, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kanchanaburi, and Montana. “Whether our clients are seeking an important investment-grade Ruby or a variety of calibrated goods for a pave-setting, we have something for everyone.” Anurak Sinchawla, Director SANT Enterprises.

Santpal Sinchawla

Santpal Sinchawla combines extensive technical knowledge in gemology with business leadership and cultural enthusiasm. His career covers global gem trade, industry governance, and philately, making him a well-regarded figure in both gemstones and collectors’ communities. Born in Rangoon in 1960, he moved to Bangkok at age 4. He graduated from the International School Bangkok in 1978 and trained as a Graduate Gemologist at GIA and the German Gemological Institute. He joined the family gemstone business at 18, later completed Harvard Business School’s Owner President Program in 2010. He has held key roles within trade organisations: 6 years as Director of the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA), 4 years as Vice President, and advisory roles; also 12 years on the Thai Gem & Jewellery Trade Association board and two years with CIBJO. A life long philatelist since age 10, he collects stamps from India, Burma, and Thailand and serves on the Philatelic Association of Thailand’s board. He’s also a member of the Royal Philatelic Society London and the American Philatelic Society, earning top honours at international exhibitions.

Ashoo Sinchawla

Ashoo's leadership and expertise have contributed significantly to the success of SANT in a competitive and dynamic market. She is currently serving as a Director in the board of ICA and also Gems Keep Giving. Her combined experience in business and advocacy within the gemstone industry has made her a well-respected professional, known for her deep understanding of gemstones, leadership, and commitment to enhancing the global reputation of the sector.

Anurak Sinchawla

Anurak is a dynamic young director merging deep traditional expertise with modern ethical firing lines to push forward SANT into the future. Under his guidance, Sant Enterprises prioritizes ethically produced stones, responding to growing customer demand for environmentally friendly sourcing. Anurak completed his graduation from Melbourne, Australia and trained as a Graduate Gemologist at GIA and is also a Harvard Alumnus since completing the GIA Global Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School.

Our Team

Management Staff

With a combined industry experience of over 70 years Jeraporn Prompong, Chanya Sathornpluk, and Roongphittaya Siriwong lead the experienced employees of Sant Enterprises in delivering the orders on time as well as providing the quality specified to the delight of all customers. They are also responsible for maintaining one of the most exhaustive and best stock inventories in the industry.

Sales Team

Vipul Parekh and Manee Euananrak are the face of the company i.e. the Sales Team. They are ever present and accessible to all our clients. The motto they follow is not just to do business but also to forge relationships with clients. They not only are our in-house sales team but also handle all the details for the successful participation of Sant Enterprises at major Trade Shows all over the world.

Accounts

As a seasoned accounts manager, Pawan Kumar is in charge of Sant Enterprises’ finance department. Pawan devotes his time and effort to both ensuring the solidity of the company's financial vigour as well as bolstering the company's relationship with local and international suppliers and clients.

Shipping

Parag Parekh has a considerable 12 years experience in the shipping department at Sant Enterprises, managing the import and export aspects of the business in terms of handling invoices, dealing with customs, and other legal issues. He upholds the company’s vision of defining itself as a truly world-class establishment by providing a guarantee of quality and timely delivery.

Factory Management

Daeng is a technically sophisticated specialist in gemstones cutting with over 25 years of experience overseeing over 25 cutters, assessing and recutting stones, and making special orders for Sant Enterprises’ clients. He has an exceptional record of delivering projects on time and up to standard, meeting the specific demands of our international customer base.
